Gleaners Food Bank

At least once a year since 1998, Troop 395 has given up one Saturday morning of sleep to lend some helping hands at Gleaner's Food Bank in downtown Detroit. Please go to the Gleaner's web site for an explanation of what Gleaner's does, who the hungry are and how we all can help. Also, while you are out there, click on the Volunteer at Gleaners section and then scroll down to January 19, 2002. The first picture displayed should shown some familiar faces.

Adopt-A-Highway

In addition, beginning in 2001, the troop has participated in the Adopt-A-Highway program. Three times a year, youth and adult members of the troop help maintain a 3-mile stretch of M-36 between US-23 and the village of Hamburg.
